A request for dimensional inspection has come from a wood processing machinery manufacturer. Recently, due to the impact of declining birth rates and an aging population in various fields, securing skilled workers has become a significant social issue. [Inspection Settings and Results] By using EasyInspector's "Dimensional Angle Inspection" feature, we were able to determine the dimensions at four locations in 0.72 seconds. We set up inspection frames to detect the edge portions when measuring the dimensions of each part. The background was made white to facilitate edge detection. The greater the contrast in brightness, the easier it is to detect edges. To prevent shadows, the lighting is positioned to illuminate from both sides. The left image shows the master image (with the inspection area outlined in pink and green), while the right image displays the detection of good products with a blue detection frame.
